Brownbulb is a full service Audio Production Group that can help you bring your visions to reality! We're determined to help artists of all levels and experience create their projects effectively and efficently.
FAQ: What projects have you done in the past? We've had the pleasue of doing voice over work, recording individuals as well as full bands, editing and re-mixing previously recorded works and have been able to provide studio musicians to folks in need. On location recording as well as in studio recording options are availible to fit each artist;s comfort level. We've helped many artists with their photography and CD inserts/cover art as well. FAQ: What equipment do you use? We capture audio with a collection of microphones ranging from Shure SM57s, KSM 27s, PG81s, a Shure drum mic set to MXL 2006, Samson, Audio Technica and SHS mics; both dynamic and condensers. The signal routes through a Behringer UB2442FX-PRO mixer, possibly through an assortment of rack gear, and then into an M-Audio Delta 1010 analog to digital converter where it ends up in Sonar on our PC. We also use Mac equipment into Garageband when needed. An Onkyo amp into Polk monitors and a Sony subwoofer reproduce the sound along with Sony, Pioneer and Elite 840 headphones. FAQ: Do you have any equipment/instruments that we can use? Sure, technically you don't even need to bring a single instrument with you to record with Brownbulb! We offer several acoustic and electric guitars and basses. Keyboard/synths with MIDI capabilities, a Yamaha DTXpress III electronic drum kit, a banjo and a large assortment of precussion instruments. We also have a Line 6 Spider II (1) 12" amp, Line 6 Spider III (2 X 10") guitar amp, Line 6 POD, SWR LA 15 bass amp and a Crate 220 watt bass/keyboard amp at your disposal FAQ: How much does it all cost? Each client and project is unique however a general rule of thumb is $25 per hour.
